The other day, a funny thing happened to pathguy and myself. It was a nice Saturday and we decided to take a long ride on some local rail trails. Pathguy, being the diligent man that he is, checked the weather and informed me that according to weather.com, there would be a 10% chance of rain all day except for the hour from 3 to 4 pm when there would be a 100% chance of rain.
“Must be a typo,” I said. “Let’s go anyway.” So off we went on 2 road bikes with no rain jackets or plans to stay close to shelter.
Did we know the weather forecast? Yes. Did we have a watch to tell us when 3 pm arrived? Yes. Did we still get caught in a downpour like idiots? Of course we did. Not only that, my front brakes started to fail during the storm. Here are some photos celebrating our stupidity:

Don’t be dumb like us! Pay attention to your weather forecast!
